Well before i proceed to express my opinion about this paranoid..Let me tell you where did this came from.
Discussing past anecdotes about festival season with my friend (can't disclose the name though) this truth word came up..and i swear..since then i'm banging my head for..what is truth.
Obviously, this area calls for a wide range of details and debates but I'm gonna tell my thoughts only..mildly influenced by the views of my parents.
For me..Truth is nothing but a Big Green Chilli...looking appetisingly tasty from a distance, but closer you get to it, more you want to run away from it!
Chilli is for Parrots..in the same way truth is for the brave hearts, the ones with undeterred focus..not for normal beings.
Exposing an individual to sheer truth is like forcing an infant to lick lime.
As funny it seems to imagine..as depressing it is when u get to know the much awaited path of so-called-enlightenment.
Now lemme introduce you to another aspect of truth..
Present is truth..Yesterday was your history and Tomorrow is a mystery .
To illustrate this..
Let's assume you are fixed up in a riot..a guy chasing you with a dagger..driven by rage..ready to slaughter anyone In his path! You will be running (obviously) but running like you'd never before. Maybe fair enough to put even Usain Bolt in shame(no offence there). Your present commands you to run and surely that will be your priority! that will be the truth to you..running is everything!
But suppose you are tired now and the chaser catches up with the dagger and is grinning upon you..You mental state may have already accepted it's pitiful end..ready to make peace with the evil ..but twisting the plot..the guy just turns out to be your college friend and was just trying to say hi!!
Surely..you will still faint away!..No it's not due to the ugliness of the situation but due to silliness of out mind to accept anything as ultimate truth.!!
I may have shaken up your foundations about the very basics of truth but it surely is a point to pounder upon!
Your confused teen will cram up the thoughts again!(if the curiosity didn't cease to exist)
